To maximise clarity, even in low light conditions, the VEO HD2 1042M includes HOYA Extra Low Dispersion (ED) Glass and a BaK4 roof prism, all treated with Vanguard’s Multi-Guard Coatings. Focusing is through a single, textured focus wheel that allows you to maintain focus on moving objects with ease, even wearing gloves. It also has a 1/4” thread that allows it to be attached to a monopod for additional stability.
Tough: Designed for use outdoors, the monocular is waterproof and fog proof, with a thick rubber armour to protect it if dropped. It also includes and eyepiece cover and objective lens cover to protect the glass from scratches when stored.
Digiscoping Kit: In addition to the monocular, the kit includes a PA-60 Smartphone Digiscope Adaptor that slots onto the monocular’s eyepiece, for smartphones up to 3.4”/87mm wide. With different smartphones having their camera lens in different spots, and even multiple lenses, the PA-60 has an adjustable eyepiece that can be tailored to your chosen camera lens. To minimise the risk of movement when you take your photo, there is also a Bluetooth Remote Control that can be used with IOS and Android phones.
