We're running a monthly competition on our @vanguardphotouk social media where you can win £100 to spend on our website and get your photo shared across our social media. If nothing else, it's a great opportunity to practice new skills. So why not join in and have a go?
December theme: #vanguardwinter
How does it work:
Step 1 - Follow us on Instagram and Facebook
To keep up to date it’s best to be a follower of our @vanguardphotouk Instagram and Facebook page to see the latest theme, see the entries you’re up against, and to vote for the winner. Alternatively, pop over to the page when you have some free time.
Step 2 – Check out the monthly theme
The theme will be announced on our Instagram page and Facebook on the first of every month, along with the theme # you need to use to enter.
Step 3 – Enter your photo
You can take a photo specifically linked to the theme, or select one of your existing photos that matches the theme and then simply post it on your Instagram account using the theme # and #vanguardphotouk in the text before the end of the calendar month. Or tag us on Facebook @vanguardphotouk
Step 4 – Vanguard shortlists the entries
The team at Vanguard will shortlist our top 3 photos entries and these will then be shared for voting for up to 5 days before a winner will be announced across our social media platforms.
Step 5 - Vote for the winner
The Vanguard team’s top 3 photos will then be placed on our social media for voting, there will be a link available that will take you to the top 3 images and you can vote for your favourite (s)
Step 6 – The winner!
The winner will be announced on our Instagram and Facebook page and will be asked to email marketing@vanguardworld.co.uk where they will be issued with a unique code to spend £100 on any product on our website.

The boring stuff… T&Cs
- Open to residents of the UK and Ireland only and the winner must have a valid UK or Irish delivery address
- Entries must include the # theme and #vanguardphotouk
- Photos must be a square to fit to the Instagram grid
- Maximum 3 entries per person in each calendar month
- Vanguard will select the shortlist at the end of the closing date and will reserve the right to increase/decrease the number of entries on the shortlist.
- Vanguard will announce the winner and highlight these in a post published on the Instagram and shared to stories.
- The £100 code will be valid for a minimum of 3 months and must be used on one order, and any unspent money will not be carried over
- Vanguard’s decision on winning entries is final
Personal Data
- By entering you are allowing Vanguard to use the images on their social media, including globally where relevant
- By entering you are allowing Vanguard to contact you in the event of a winning entry
- It is not always possible to create a link to your page but you will be named in the text
- Vanguard will not retain any personal data, but this may be captured by the various 3rd party platforms such as Instagram
Please note that Vanguard can decide to extend/cancel/adapt this competition at our discretion.
