Alta Pro 3 263CLBPS Carbon tripod with Ball Head - 20kg Capacity

The Vanguard Alta Pro 3 263CLBPS is a solid carbon fibre traditional tripod kit that is designed for the most demanding photographer who prioritises stability, while needing the portability to carry their kit cross country to reach more remote photoshoots. Optimised for key styles such as landscape, wildlife, architecture and portrait photography.

This tripod kit is topped with an Arca compatible LBP-50S low-profile dual axis ball head which is CNC machined to deliver smooth, precise movements and total control. It's dual 360° pan axis allows you to level your camera in seconds on any terrain, and then enables you to create accurate panoramas or reframe your shot with ease.  With an oversized 35mm ball, oversized levers and friction control, this head has a 20kg load capacity that ensures smooth movement for the largest camera kits.

This tripod includes a traditional vertical central column. This central column is hexagonal and this allows the legs to fold in closer, making the diameter just 92.5mm so it's easy to carry in one hand and attach to a camera bag.

This tripod offers an ideal balance of strength and portability. Its 26mm, three-section legs weigh just 1.7kg, allowing it to be carried and handled comfortably, while it's 20kg Load capacity make it ideal for both full frame and mirrorless cameras with medium lenses and professional accessories.

Despite a folded height of just 695mm, it has a maximum extended height of 1705mm (or 1445mm without the central column extended for maximum stability) provides an effective working height for the tallest photographers, while the split centre column and three easy set leg angles (23°, 50° and 80°) allow it to be deployed to just 240mm with ease for low angle shots or simpler macro shots, though for the best macro shots we would recommend a multi-angle central column.

The retractable rubber spike feet ensure stability on any surface, while the silent, easy clean leg locks make cleaning and maintenance easy, maximising the life of the tripod.

On the side of the tripod are accessory threads that allow you to mount any magic arm to mount the accessory you need to maximise your photoshoot, including flashes, monitors, mics or more, making this tripod a versatile solution for the most professional photographers.
