The Vanguard Universal L-Bracket is an Arca compatible quick release plate that allows you to switch from portrait to landscape in just seconds, and designed for maximum flexibility to fit the widest range of camera bodies.

The Vanguard Universal L-Bracket is an Arca compatible quick release plate that allows you to switch from portrait to landscape in just seconds. Traditionally used in landscape photography, but equally useful in a wide range of styles.
This L- bracket is designed to offer maximum flexibility across a wide range of camera bodies.
The base plate has a removable 1/4" thread that can be fitted to a choice of three slots, allowing you to adjust the L-Bracket to the optimum position for your camera, and at just 120g it minimises the extra weight.
The side plate can be extended by up to 14mm, or moved up to 11mm forward and back. All secured using a 3mm hex key to ensure a solid fit. The side plate is also a closed loop to ensure that when used in portrait mode, it can offer a secure and solid fit in any tripod clamp.
On top of the side plate is a cold shoe mount, and across both the side and base plates there are 1/4" thread holes to fit a magic arm such as the VEO TSA. This allows you to attach a range of accessories, from lighting to monitors, to make the most of your shoot.
Underneath the base plate and on the side plate are removable safety pins that act as a stop in case the clamp on your tripod head is not fully tightened by mistake, protecting your valuable camera kit.
