Working through the Coronavirus Lockdown

Following the government announcement at 8:30pm on Monday 23rd March 2020, we thought we'd just share what it means here at Vanguard, and what it might mean for you if you need to contact us.

For the duration of the lockdown we have implemented processes to maximise the safety of the team, while trying to enable a smooth customer service in these difficult times.  Realistically however, our response may not be as timely or as professional as we'd like it to be. Please bear with us.

Contacting Vanguard:

We will still be able to take calls and answer e-mails, but we recommend some temporary changes.  The best way to contact vanguard is via e-mail at as this should be manned, even in the event of an individual being off ill.  For phone calls you can use 01202 651281, but we would recommend using 07867 308424.

Warranty/Consumer Care:

Please do not send products into the office. We always require proof of delivery and while we have a system in place that allows products to be received, there is a risk of dispute of receipt as delivery drivers do not always request signature due to the risk of contaminating the handset. To avoid this we will do whatever we can to resolve the issue by e-mail/phone. 


Our warehouse has policies in place to continue to deliver products and as such, the website remains open for orders, though there may be some delays on deliveries. At present, we are not seeing any significant delays on orders we process being delivered, but we will continue to monitor this.  If you have not received your product within 5 working days of the order being accepted, please contact us so we can investigate and track your order.

To support you through this tough time and offset any inconvenience you may face in the coming days, we will offer a 15% discount on all Vanguard products from today until the end of April.  This will be available here our website, but we will also look to roll it out to participating retail partners over the coming days and will add the websites we know are participating to the bottom of this blog when we know they are live.  Simply use this code at checkout: VANGUARD-15 

Keeping You Entertained:

The isolation can be challenging, so we will continue to use our social media @vanguardphotouk or @vanguardnature to share photos, stories, ideas, offers and competitions to to try to help keep you entertained.
