The diverse lineup includes products with first-of-its-kind features that are molding industry standards.
Anne Lee, Taiwanese entrepreneur, set up Guardforce group in 1986. She started her business as OEM Tripods manufacturer for major accounts such as Sony. She extended progressively her know-how to related areas such as binoculars and camera bags. Through the years, this expansion of activities and dissemination of products on the international level have led to deeper markets knowledge. Anne Lee, aware of major developments underway in the late 90s, both in the global economy (globalization, increased competition) than in photo-video, has refocused its strategy: To remain a major player in the long term, strengthen its own brand positioning VANGUARD on medium/high-end is crucial.
Design and manufacture 100% integrated
Taiwan originally, the group is now based in China, in Canton (Guangzhou), south-east. 3000 people are involved in the daily success of the brand at headquarters, R & D and the production center (with all product chains). The specificity and strength of the Vanguard Group doesn’t only lie in the diversity of its products but also in total control of his activity: no subcontracting is present in the production process.
