In 1998, VANGUARD’s manufacturing facility earned ISO 9001 certification and was among the first accessory manufacturers to do so. VANGUARD is audited annually to verify conformance.

In 2009, we introduced Alta Pro tripods series with exclusive and patented innovations enabling more possibilities than ever before. Its innovative Multi-Angle Central Column (MACC) System allows users to move the central column from zero to 180-degree angles in variable vertical and horizontal positions making macro-photography and special wide-angle shots a breeze. The Instant Swivel Stop-n-Lock (ISSL) System securely repositions the central column in one simple movement, in just a few seconds, while maintaining the tripod’s stability.
This year of 2009, we have been rewarded by the prestigious Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) as best accessory.

In 2010, we released UP-Rise series, a full range of bags, from BackPack to Messenger, from Shoulder to Slingbag. UP-Rise broke the mold of camera bag standards with its innovative ability to expand in size to accommodate your changing lens and gear needs. Every UP-Rise model expands with one easy zipper motion and shrinks back down when you don’t need the room.
On UP-Rise Messenger bags, we implemented the Rapid Access System that features top and front retrieval points, so users never miss the action from fumbling over their stowed cameras.

In 2011, for the third year, the photo-video industry thrilled in front of our new products range, Skyborne bags and Auctus Plus tripods.

Auctus Plus tripods have been designed to go from a studio to an outdoor shoot in a snap. Its ultra-smooth Extreme Support Height Positioning (ESHP) Wheel System is a dual-function wheel gear that adjusts central column height securely while supporting heavy gear. This advanced gear wheel also enables precise height fine tuning, while holding an extreme loading weight.
